Guided Rock Climbing

This tour will take you to climb the natural rock wall at Damai Crag, Batu Caves, Malaysia. It is for climbers of all levels, whether you have zero or some experience in climbing, either indoors or outdoors . The limestone rock face has more than 50 routes from French grade 5c-6c (beginner-intermediate), awaiting your vertical challenge. Our professional guides will provide a safety briefing, set up the rope, and then participants will be guided to climb selected routes on a top-rope basis (we're open for experienced climbers to do lead climbing). For those who want to take on more challenge, we're happy to put you on harder climbs that will make you yell out! ;) After the climbs, we're pleased to give you a free ride to Batu Caves Temple for sightseeing.

Itinerary
08:30 - Meetup at Batu Caves crag
08:45 - Briefing and start climbing
11:30 - stop, closing and we can drop you off at Sri Subramaniar Temple Batu Caves for a leisure visit

Difficulty & prerequisite
Rating 3 of 5, moderate fitness require, suitable for beginner to intermediate climber that has zero or some experience in indoor or outdoor climbing and kids above 6yrs, there are many grades of difficulty to choose and our guides will pick the route base on your level and skills. Average person can do 4 to 5climbs, for safety harness fitting require waist size smaller than 115cm.

What to wear and bring

  • weather is humid and hot on sunny day, plenty of water recommended 1.5L

  • sporty wear, recommended pant for mosquito bites and scratches protection

  • easy access to crag, slipper or sandal is fine

  • insect repellent

  • snacks, energy foods, choc,banana etc.

  • optional: sun protection: sun glass, lotion, cap

  • keep your fingers and toes nail short, you need step and grip on tiny holds.

  • wash room is available, you can bring another set of dry cloths in case you want to clean up and change

- add Waterfall abseiling after rock climbing at RM250/pax (min 2)
- add waterfall trekking after rock climbing at RM120/pax

Self proficient climbers - if you have a group of mix experience with lead climbing and top rope with belaying experience, looking to just hire a guide pin-point the routes, guiding on lead climbing, brief on safety anchor setup and rent the gears, then contact us for details.

- Top-notch certified safety climbing equipment (helmet,harness and rock climbing shoe etc), you just need to bring yourself

*** Please take noted we don't accept CASH on arrival as we required advance full payment to book the guide's slot, as we do multiple activities in different locations base on request everyday. Hence we're not able to guarantee the availability for your request without a full booking payment.
