Guided Multi-pitch Climbing

After several of indoor or outdoor single pitch climbing, do you want to climb higher and pickup more advance skills? we can offer you an upgrade experience and skills of doing multi-pitch climbing with our professional guide from ground level up to 80m height on spectacular limestone crags and come back down using rappelling rope descending techniques like fireman. Also suitable for those had just taken Multi-pitch Climbing course (Level 3) would like to practice more in the guided safer environment.

Batu Caves hosted some of the best sport climbing routes from single pitch to multi-pitch on limestone rocks with variety of rock formations and grades. All climbs are well protected by fixed anchors and bolts, it's been the best training ground for all level of climbers.

You will be briefed and hands-on the belaying,safety communications and rappelling techniques on the spot before do the real adventurous climb. Participant will be climbing with guide on max 2:1 basis, belays the guide on lead climbing for all pitches up to the peak and follow the climb on second, the climbs not only give you an adrenaline rush but you will also pickup the advance skills in belaying, rappelling, and rope management. Then come back down using the double rope rappelling techniques. if you like natures, we highly recommend you to climb at Bukit Takun. Below grades of multipitch routes to choose.

Itinerary

08:30 - Meetup at Batu Caves crags, briefing

09:00 - gearing up and start climbing

12:00 - stop, closing and we can drop you off at Sri Subramaniar Temple Batu Caves for a leisure visit

Rates:

Batu Caves Multipitch Climbing (3Pitches,max 2participants): RM480 for 1person, RM860 for 2person

Kura-kura Multipitch Climbing (4Pitches,max 2participants): RM580 for 1person, RM1060 for 2persons

Bukit Takun Multipitch Climbing (4Pitches,max 2participants): RM580 for 1person, RM1060 for 2persons

Difficulty & prerequisite:

Grade of climbs: 6a-6b / 5.10a-5.10c

Pre-requisite: done rope climbing indoor/outdoor grades up to 6b/5.10c and comfortable in belaying lead climber.

What's Include:

1. Professional,experienced Multi-languages(English,Mandarin,Malay,Cantonese) speaking guides with Wilderness First Aids certified.

*** All our guides are minimum Level 3 SEACF(South East Asia climbing Federation) sport climbing certified, team lead is SEACF Instructor certified

2. UIAA certified climbing safety equipment (Dynamic rope,Quickdraws,Belay set,Chalks,Helmet,Harness,Rock Climbing shoe,PAS)

3. Basic first aid kit

*** You can bring your own personal climbing equipment(Harness,Rock shoe,Helmet,Chalkbags,ATC set,safety sling with locking carabiner etc)

What to bring and wears

Flexible sport attire, long or short pant, preferable dry-fit

Plenty of water, min. 1.5L per person

Change of cloths,small towel

Whatever camera is allow

Sunscreen,hat,cap or sunglasses

Expected high humidity climate means sweat a lot
